Bike race up Independence Pass in Aspen, Colorado. High altitude, low oxygen, a lotta pain.
This race starts at the winter gate, 4 miles east of Aspen, and
finishes at the Independence Ghost Town approximately 10 miles east up
Highway 82 on Independence Pass. The Ride gains approximately 2200 feet
of elevation, from 8,500 to 10,700, over the ten mile route.

And also a big thanks to race director Mark Fuller and all the
volunteers for making the event such a success. The Ride for the Pass
is a benefit for the Independence Pass Foundation
