Humphreys placed second to The Flying Tomato in the slopestyle event friday, when competitors battled a cold, blustery day with bone chilling winds that often sent them flying deep into landing zones at Stratton Mountain. Burton's Charles Reid placed third.

In the women's slopestyle comp, Kjersti Oestgaard Buaas scored was the only one to score above 70, tallying a 73.17 besting second place Jamie Anderson's 67.33 and Jenny Jones who took third with 61.83.
