Blood Doping Bank? Vienna Facility Under Scrutiny

Anti doping officials around Europe are investigating a blood bank in Vienna, Austria due to allegations that some 30 to 50 world-class athletes visited the facilities for forbidden blood transfusions. The director of the blood bank, Lothar Baumgaratner at first denied that the firm could perform blood-doping, but later confirmed that it does indeed have the appropriate equipment.
