Female porn stars are out of hand! First, Jenna Jameson criticized male porn stars for taking Viagra to perform on screen. Now, Spanish porno queen Nacho Vidal
has taken it a step further by blasting Spanish men for using Viagra as a sexual crutch. For centuries, Spaniards were largely a conservative, sexually repressed people who followed a mañana lifestyle common in many Mediterranean countries. That’s changed. Spain has a red-hot economy and its people have been transformed into sexually liberated workaholics. Men are often exhausted from working long hours so they can live in the fast lane. Sexually liberated women want men to perform on demand, so Viagra sales have gone through the roof. Viagra is a popular recreational drug among Spanish men aged 15 through 70, selling for as much as $80 a pill in nightclubs. Miss Vidal’s anti-Viagra attitude is similar to that of American sports fans who demand drug-free purity in athletes. We love home runs and 350-pound linemen, but want athletes to do it naturally. Spanish women can’t expect exhausted men to have sex with them six times a day and still pass a sexual drug test. (The New York Times, Feb. 17, 2007)
