The girl of your dreams— or at least the woman of the minute— may be as close as your cell phone.
Internet dating has been around since the early ‘90s, but most guys are tired of endless e-mails, cyber bullshit and wading through the trolls. Cell phone dating makes it possible to hookup within minutes with a nearby lady who is out and about. A new service by Match.com allows anyone with a GPS cell phone to zoom in on a potential nearby hookup. For only 99 cents, MeetMoi will text message information about local talent and send their profiles. Zogo matches people who want to talk by phone. The service is free, but that won’t last long. They plan to add a small fee in the next few months. Fast Flirting is the cell phone version of speed dating. The service gives you access to a list of people based on location and age, and allows phone conversations of up to 10 minutes. More than 4 million people a month use cell phone dating services— up 30 percent in only one year. Friday night, instead of using your lame lines on the babes at the bar, why not call them first using a cell phone dating service and end the night up close and personal?
